PURPOSE: A multi-purpose cooker for steaming and roasting is provided to rotatably support a cooking plate such as a grill in a main body and install a shutter for the opening/closing of a part of cover, thereby removing a heat loss and inconvenience in the operation of the cover. CONSTITUTION: A multi-purpose cooker for steaming and roasting is composed of a cooker main body(10), a cover(20) for covering the main body(10), and a cooking plate(30) for supporting a food to be cooked in the main body(10) and discharging oil from the food downward. A multi-purpose cooker further comprises a rotation supporter for rotatably supporting the cooking plate(30) in a certain interval with a bottom surface of the main body(10) and an opening/closing unit for opening/closing a part of the cover(20) to cook the food by rotating the cooking plate(30) through the opening/closing unit.
