PURPOSE: An automatic flushing apparatus in scale pit is provided to prevent facility accident and improve operation productivity by spraying cooling water onto the circumference of port valves for a certain time if scale together with cooling water are transferred to scale pit, thereby removing scale from the circumference of screen. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus comprising a plural port valves(220) and a plural pumps(230) an inflow port of which is connected to the port valves(220) through a pipe(220a) so as to discharge cooling water inside a scale pit(200), the automatic flushing apparatus in the scale pit comprises a sensor part(10) installed adjacently to the respective port valves(220) to detect whether scale(210) is settled or not on the port valves(220), a cooling water injection pipe(12) installed inside the inner center of the port valves(220), and a controller(85) for supplying cooling water into the cooling water injection pipe(12) according to detection results of the sensor part(10) so that scale(210) settled on the circumference of screen(225) of the port valves(220) is removed by spraying of cooling water, and a pump(230) is switched to be operated when removal of scale(210) is completed.
