PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable purchase of an event admission ticket by a portable terminal via a telecommunication network, automatic authentication of propriety regarding entrance by using admission ticket information download beforehand to the portable terminal when entering an event, and admission of entrance in response to an authentication result. SOLUTION: When an admission ticket system host computer 1 receives a request to purchase an admission ticket from the portable terminal 2, it sends the admission ticket information to the portable terminal 2. The admission ticket system host computer 1 sends the admission ticket information to an entrance gate 5 also. When the entrance gate 5 receives the admission ticket information from the portable terminal 3, it compares the information with the admission ticket sent from the admission ticket system host computer 1, and if they match, it allows entrance in regard to the portable terminal 2.
