PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial waveguide converter which can maintain the conversion characteristics of a probe favorably. SOLUTION: A probe 5, a terminal 6, and a ground pattern 7 are patterned severally at one side of a dielectric substrate 2, and also this ground pattern 7 is led conductively through a ground pattern 9 and a plurality of through holes 10 made at the other side of the dielectric substrate 2, and this dielectric substrate 2 is arranged in parallel with its tube axis, within a waveguide conduit 1. By such constitution, the dimension 1 of projection of the probe 5 and the dimension d between the probe 5 and the terminal 6 are kept with high accuracy, and the deterioration of the conversion characteristics of the probe 5 can be prevented.
