PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable digital device which is capable of controlling the display operation on a display screen without key operations. SOLUTION: The portable digital device has one or more motion sensors formed to detect the directional motion of the digital device is provided. This digital device is so formed as to execute the display action for the images displayed on the display screen in accordance with the directional motion of the digital device detected by the motion sensors.
