PURPOSE: To provide a thermal cutting machine which can be miniaturized, efficiently ventilate fume and high-pressure gas, and maintain an excellent working environment, and to provide a dust collecting method thereof. CONSTITUTION: This thermal cutting machine comprises a plurality of exhaust chambers (20) continuously disposed parallel to one side of a table (3) inside the table (3), an exhaust outlet (23) formed in one end side in the exhaust direction of each exhaust chamber (20), an exhaust means (25) which is communicated with the exhaust outlet (23) directly or via an exhaust duct (24c), an opening/ closing means (24b) to open/close each exhaust outlet (23) or individual exhaust passages to the exhaust means (25), each air inlet (21) provided at a position substantially facing each exhaust outlet (23), an air supply means (22) which is communicated with the air suction side of each air inlet (21) to supply air, and a control means (6) to synchronously and/or singly control each opening/ closing means (24b) and each air supply means (22) corresponding to the position of a torch (4) during a cutting operation. |
