PURPOSE: A magnetic sensor is provided to be capable of reducing the size of the magnetic sensor and decreasing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic sensor includes a thin film type magnetic tunnel effect device(11). A coil(21) is located in the predetermined region of the parallel surface for a thin film surface of the magnetic tunnel effect device and simultaneously formed into a double spiral type structure made of the spiral type first and second wire part(21-1,21-2). At this time, the magnetic tunnel effect device is located between the center portions(P1,P2) of the first and second wire part. At the time, the first predetermined portion of the first wire part overlaid with the magnetic tunnel effect device, is flowed with the same current as that of the second predetermined portion of the second wire part overlaid with the magnetic tunnel effect device.
