PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a piezoelectric vibrating device, the piezoelectric vibrating device, a ceramic package and a real time clock are provided to improve frequency accuracy and aging characteristic without deteriorating a vibrator packaged portion. CONSTITUTION: After mounting a piezoelectric vibrator(14) at the first recess portion formed at a package body part(12), a lid(24) is mounted at the upper portion of the first recess portion. Then, the piezoelectric vibrator mounted recess portion is completely sealed by cutting the external communication under vacuum condition. After carrying out an aptitude discriminating process at the piezoelectric vibrator, an IC(Integrated Circuit) chip(18) is mounted at the upper portion of the resultant structure.
