PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically collecting grind chips is provided to prevent the axial wear of a magnetic roll motor and the flooding of the cutting oil at a reservoir due to the axial wear of the magnetic roll motor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically collecting grind chips is composed of a guide portion for guiding the cutting oil containing grind chips through a fluid path(17) to a reservoir(70) and a main body for passing the cutting oil and grind chips through a magnetic roll(50) and tension roll(56). The main body(40) comprises a rotation detective sensor, a worm motor(46) controlled by the rotation detecting sensor, a working shaft moving up and down, and a roll bearing box(57-1) connected with the working shaft. The tension roll is automatically controlled with respect to the amount of the grind chips introduced therein. There is a rotation screw(71) having wings and nozzles(79) for injecting the cutting oil to move the grind chips floating on the cutting oil toward the screw, and then to guide the grind chips to the magnetic roll by the wings of the screw. An eccentric shaft(72) is installed at the reservoir to provide the cutting oil containing the grind chips for the main body.
