PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new high performance ferrite magnet having a higher (BH)max than that of a conventional ferrite magnet. SOLUTION: This ferrite magnet has a main phase of W-type ferrite including A (A means Sr, Ba, or Ca), Co and Zn, and has a constitutional ratio of each metal element (A, Fe, Co, and Zn) to total metal element amount, A: 1-13 atom.%, Fe: 78-95 atom.%, Co: 0.5-15 atom.% and Zn: 0.5-15 atom.% in a basic composition. |
