PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process for determining whether or not a designated object can be disposed without protruding from a field graphic in a short time. SOLUTION: The data processing device, as its feature, is composed such that, when given data are acquired from a database in a HD drive 206 and the object is processed and merged in a plurality of designated field graphics according to field information in the given data, a CPU 201 acquires the maximum width of designated font of the field graphic from the field information, based on the acquired maximum width of the designated font of the field graphic, derives the maximum length of a character string displayed for each field graphic, and previously determines whether or not the derived maximum length of the character string displayed for each field graphic is smaller than the width of the field graphic. |
