<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small high resolution color organic electroluminescent element having high performance and excellent productivity by making the best of characteristics of an organic thin film EL. SOLUTION: In this electroluminescent element having at least plural first electrodes 18 arranged in a matrix on a base 14, a second electrode 26 disposed face to face with the plural first electrodes, a luminescent layer formed between the plural first electrodes and the second electrode and also formed on each of the first electrodes as a set of a luminescent layer for B (blue) 22B, a luminescent layer for G (green) 22G, and a luminescent layer for R (red) 22R, a luminescent material for B is contained in the luminescent layer for B, a luminescent material for G is contained in the luminescent layer for G, and a luminescent material for R is contained in the luminescent layer for R. Thereby, the small high resolution color organic electroluminescent element having high performance and excellent productivity is obtained.</p> |
