PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device with excellent user-friendliness, its control method, a control program, and a storage medium. SOLUTION: When an on-line mode is selected, an LED fitted in the center of an on-hook key blinks (S511). When a stop key is depressed (S512), browser is finished (S515), the LED is turned off (S516), the line is disconnected and the mode restores to a standby mode (S517). When no stop key is depressed in the step S512, the processing proceeds to a step S513, in which whether or not the on-hook key is entered is discriminated. When the on-hook key is entered, the processing proceeds to a step S514, the line is disconnected and the mode shifts to an off-line mode.
