PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component apparatus that prevents increase in size and metal constituents or the like from being scattered for greatly improving reliability, and can obtain stable oscillation characteristics. SOLUTION: In a quartz oscillator 1, around the cavity opening of a ceramic package 2 where a cavity 20 for accommodating a quartz oscillator 3 on its upper surface is formed, a seal ring 24 whose surface is plated is fitted, and at the same time a metallic lid body 6 whose lower surface is plated is mounted onto the upper surface of the seal ring 24. Additionally, the quartz oscillator 1 is composed by joining the seal ring 24 to the metallic lid body 6 by resistance welding, and is formed so that a thickness T1 of an outer-periphery section 6a of the metallic lid body 6 is set thinner than a thickness T in a region for joining to the seal ring 24 of the metallic lid body 6 to provide gap to the seal ring 2.
