PURPOSE: A photographing mode dial device of a camera is provided to select various photographing modes while taking a small space in a small camera by operating a selected mode selecting dial only, thereby realizing a compact camera. CONSTITUTION: A camera body(1) contains a printed circuit board. A control unit is provided to the printed circuit board and is electrically connected with a control target part for controlling a photographing mode, so that the control unit receives an electric signal for controlling the control target part if the photographing mode is selected. A first mode selecting dial(3) is rotatively installed at the camera body and is connected to a plurality of contact points to transmit a contact signal as an electric signal to the control unit. A second mode selecting dial(5) is arranged in an inner space of the first mode selecting dial to be rotatable, partially being protruded to the outside. A mode dial locking button(7) of which one end is selectively connected to the contact points for transmitting another electrical signal for selecting the first or the second mode selecting dial to the control unit. |
