PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera whose constitution is simple, whose arranging space is small and which can be miniaturized as a camera having a damper device damping the moving speed of a moving member. SOLUTION: The stroboscopic device 11 of this camera has a light emitting part main body 12 which can be turned from a housing position where a light emitting part having a flash light emitting tube 13 or the like does not emit light to a pop-up position where it can emit the light, and the damper device consisting of a windmill 23 driven to be rotated via a fixed gear 17, a clutch gear 18 and the coupling gears 19, 20, 21 and 22 of an acceleration driving system is incorporated in the main body 12. When the main body 12 is turned in a pop-up direction by the energizing force of a pop-up spring 24, the windmill 23 is driven to be rotated at high speed and the turning speed of the main body 12 is restricted to soften the impact force of the main body 12 at a pop-up terminal position.
