PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating defective parts of coil in up cut shear is provided to improve productivity and quality by automatically transferring the defective parts to scrap box through steel conveyor without cutting of the defective parts into sheet scrap in the up cut shear when a large amount of defects are generated on the coil. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a strip lead-in part comprising a plural soft rolls(27) installed in a width direction of the strip in rear of the up cut shear(14) to support a strip(30), and a guide table(21) on one side of which a plural female grooves are formed, and on the downward inclined other side of which a guide table groove(61) is formed along a width direction of the strip; a strip proceeding part comprising a lower pinch roll(37) for rotating an upper sprocket(42) installed at the other side of the lower pinch roll(37) as the lower pinch roll(37) is being rotated by a driving motor(33) connected to one side of the lower pinch roll(37), and an upper pinch roll(36) which is installed so that the upper pinch roll(36) is parallel to the upper part of the lower pinch roll(37), and which is moved up and down by a cylinder(35); a strip guide part comprising a connecting rod(54) connected to one side of a lower sprocket(43), a shaft(56) installed perpendicularly to the other side of the connecting rod(54), sliding shafts(47) respectively fixed to both ends of the shaft(56), and a cylinder(72) which is fixed to one end of the sliding shafts(47), and on which a guide roll(45) is mounted in a direction parallel to the shaft(56); and a scrap piling part comprising front and rear pushers(64,62) which are installed oppositely to each other on the upper part of both sides of a base(74) fixed to the upper part of steel conveyor, and a scrap piling plate(75) installed between the front and rear pushers(64,62) to discharge the scrap to the steel conveyor.
