EVAPORATOR CASE FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: An evaporator case for air conditioner is provided to keep surface temperature of the evaporator even. CONSTITUTION: An evaporator case(10) comprises an upper case(20) and a lower case(30) joined to the upper case. The lower case is formed in cylindrical shape with an upper part open to form an evaporator mounting part together with the upper case. A bottom(31) of the lower case is formed inclined from lower ends of side walls(32,32') toward a drain hole(33a) of a drain pipe(33). A plurality of supporting pieces(34) are formed on parts on which the side walls of the bottom are connected with each other to mount an evaporator(E) while minimizing contacting area with a bottom of the evaporator.
