PURPOSE: A heat exchanger is provided to improve efficiency of heating and cooling, and to prevent trouble of tube system due to function switching between heating and cooling. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger includes a first header(110) and a second header(120) formed as hollow pillars with both ends closed, and having refrigerant tubes(111,121) joined thereto; a plurality of heat exchange tubes(130) having one opening joined to a side wall of the first header and the other opening joined to a side wall of the second header to function as a passage through which refrigerant flowing into one of the headers is transported to the other header; distribution tubes(140) having one ends joined to side walls of the first header side ends of the heat exchange tubes, respectively; and a distributor(150) formed to be hollow, having the refrigerant tubes joined to one side thereof, and the other ends of the distribution tubes joined to the other side thereof.
