PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jacketed wire stripping apparatus that is compact, improves throughput, and increases reliability in detecting the rubber stopper. SOLUTION: The jacketed wire stripping apparatus has a detecting means 7 that detects the rubber stopper 4 attached to the jacketed wire termination 1a, and a stripping section 5 that strips the jacket layer of the jacketed wire termination 1a. The detecting means 7 comprises a transmission photo-electric sensor having a light-emitting section 7a and a light-receiving section 7b and is integrated with the stripper section 5. The light irradiated from the light- emitting section 7a irradiates the jacketed wire termination 1a inserted in the stripping section 5. |
