PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system which can receive regenerative energy efficiently and does not shorten the battery life. SOLUTION: A power supply system 10 has a 36 V sealed lead-acid battery 1 which is controlled by a battery controller 5 and a 36 V lithium secondary battery 2 which is controlled by a battery controller 6. A shunt 4 shunts a charge discharge current of the batteries 1 and 2. A current controller 7 distributes a current to the lithium secondary battery 2 until the voltage thereof reaches the maximum value of reception V1 (44 V) at the initial period when reception of power supplied by a motor generator 2 is started. After the voltage of the lithium secondary battery has reached the maximum value of reception V1, the shunt 4 distributes a current to the lead-acid battery 1. Energy loss caused by a side reaction of the lead-acid battery becomes nearly zero. |
