PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system, in which approximately real time information can be displayed on an information display device provided outdoors without using a dedicated radio wave. SOLUTION: An information display means 4 is provided on a second terminal station 2 attached to an outdoor work or comprising one part of the outdoor work, and data related to information display from a first terminal station 1 are transmitted through a communication network 3 having repeater stations 31 and 32 to the second terminal station 2. Therefore, even when the first terminal station 1 and the second terminal station 2 are located in distant places, the display contents of information can be immediately changed and real time information can be provided. Further, since the communication network is utilized for the purpose of transmitting data, it is not necessary to newly provide a device related transmitting/receiving, and the device can become simple and inexpensive.
