PURPOSE: Provided are functional food material for prevention and improvement of dementia using the extract of medicinal herbs and a food product using the same, thereby promoting activation of brain cells. CONSTITUTION: Functional food material for prevention and improvement of dementia is manufactured by using the extract of each Pleuropterus multiflorus Turcz., Veronica, Paeonia suffruticosa, Torreya nucifera (L.) Sieb. et Zucc, Cnidium officinale, and Gardenia florida L or the mixed extract thereof. A food product, particularly hangwa, is added with the functional food material. |
