PURPOSE: Provided are a polar plate comprising binder having high crystallinity, a lithium battery in which swelling phenomenon owing to electrolyte is inhibited by applying the polar plate, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The polar plate comprising active material composition containing an active material and a binder, is characterized in that the binder is at least one selected from the group consisting of PVDF, a mixture of PVDF and SBR, and a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene, and the crystallinity of the binder is 40-60%. The amount of the binder is 4-15 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of cathode plate.
