<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily longitudinally scroll a display document on a portable terminal with a jog, etc., only by the jog when the display document is too large to display on a screen. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a means for laying out a document on a plane, a means for displaying a display area of certain size of the laid-out document, a means for enabling a user to indicate at least two directions, a means for moving the display area on the plane to the right or left according to the two indicated directions, a means for detecting the display area having been moved to the right end or left end of the layout plane, and a means for putting the display area back to the left end or right end and moving the display area up or down when the display area has been moved to the right end or left end.</p> |
