<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable installation method and the like that can pull cable in from the main duct side of a sewage duct and install it stably in the branch duct side. SOLUTION: When installing, via securing bands 107, flexible sheath pipes 91, 92 containing cables 93, which are to be installed separately as branch lines, along a main sheath pipe 106 containing a trunk cable 105 in a sewage main duct 101, the installation is performed in the following steps: a step to provide a cable branching device 11 on the connection duct end 116 of a sewage branch duct 11 connected to the sewage main duct, a step to attach a cable 93, which is contained a soft sheath pipe 94 and drawn out from the branch guide cylinder section 22, along a flexible sheath pipe 91, 92, a step to pull in the cable 93 to the open duct end 114 of the sewage branch duct 111 by latching and pulling the flexed section 93a with a latching device 96 brought in from the open duct end 114, and, a step to install the cable 93, after it has been pulled in, in the sewage branch duct 111 via cable support bands installed by the cable installation apparatus.</p> |
