<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat dissipating sheet which is thinner than such heat dissipating sheet as comprises a reinforcing layer of non-woven material, and has an appropriate rigidity for handling, with such flexibility as appropriate for fitting in between a heating component and a heatsink, for good heat conductivity. SOLUTION: Both or either silicone hard coat or silicone varnish is applied on the surface of a base material to constitute a heat dissipating sheet. The silicone hard coat and silicone varnish demonstrate sufficient rigidity even if they are thinner than non-woven material. So, the heat dissipating sheet on which both or either the silicone hard coat or silicone varnish is applied is thinner than a conventional heat dissipating sheet attached with a reinforcing layer, with an appropriate rigidity. You may form the base material with a mixture of silicone gel and heat-releasing filler to provide such heat dissipating sheet as has appropriate flexibility and adhesion, as well as excellent heat conductivity.</p> |
