PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable photosensitive material capable of forming an image by a simple environmentally-benign developing system without using solution type processing chemicals, excellent in decolorability after development and giving a high resolution clear black image and to provide an imaging method using the material. SOLUTION: A non-photosensitive layer comprising a heat-responsive decolorable colored composition containing a polymer whose glass transition temperature (Tg) is within the range of 70-200 deg.C is disposed on a face of a support opposite to the face with a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide.
