The control of the hydrogen content of a gas mixture, circulating at the outlet of an anode of a battery block, comprises: (a) making the gas mixture from the battery flow into a diversion line (20) put in communication with the purge circuit; (b) realising in the main line (18), first (22) and second (24) means for the creation of charge losses, such that the pressure equilibrium in the median zone (182) are different for the hydrogen and the parasite gas; (c) determining the pressure of a reference gas mixture in the median zone; and (d) regulating the flow of an instantaneous gas mixture, in the diversion line, as a function of the relative values of the pressure of this instantaneous mixture and of the pressure of the reference mixture in the median zone. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a device for controlling the hydrogen content of a gas mixture using this method; and (b) an assembly for the battery-based production of energy using this method of hydrogen content control. |
