PURPOSE: A prepaid gauge and system using a mobile remote controller of an IR or an RF method is provided to improve a management efficiency of a value supply company and a wholesale/retail store and reduce a cost by communicating a server of the value supply company or the wholesale/retail store with a prepaid gauge for storing an added value of each subscriber through a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network), thereby storing and transmitting added value information to a PSAM(Payment/Purchase Secure Access Module). CONSTITUTION: A mobile remote controller of an IR/RF method is operated by a primary battery which supplies an AC voltage. A PSAM(102) stores and manages a prepaid function, a security function, a mutual authentication, an encoding/decoding function, and added value information. An IR/RF module(103) accesses various kinds of authentication, security, and added value information by a wireless communication. A micro-controller unit(101) processes a charging, an inquiry, recharging, and so on. A relay unit(110) uses the value as charged amount and breaks a supply when the charged amount is consumed. An alarm unit(100) outputs an emergency alarm when the charged amount is spent all or an illegal event is generated. |
