PURPOSE: A system and method for extracting delay pitch are provided to reduce distortions when delay pitch is searched to improve sound quality. CONSTITUTION: A system for extracting delay pitch includes a framer(21), the first, second and third filters(22,24,25), an LPC factor extractor(23), and a delay pitch calculator(26). The framer performs framing for analysing an input sound signal. The first filter filters undesired low-frequency components contained in a sound signal of the output signal of the framer. The LPC factor extractor receives the output signal of the first filter to output an LPC factor using a specific algorithm. The second filter removes Formant component of the sound signal using the factor. The third filter accepts the output of the second filter to filter components other than pitch. The delay pitch calculator calculates delay pitch among the output of the third filter. |
