PURPOSE: A location information informing service method for a mobile network is provided to grasp designation subscribers who exist in a cell region same to a service subscriber and display the grasped designation subscribers on a terminal of the service subscriber. CONSTITUTION: If information about an MS1(Mobile Station 1) is received, an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) retrieves whether information about the MS1 exists from a VLR(Visitor Location Register)(S2). If the MS1 exists in a local station of the MSC, the MSC retrieves a database in the VLR and judges whether a service subscriber of the MS1 applies for a location information informing service(S4). If the service subscriber of the MS1 applies for the location information informing service, the MSC reads IDs of an MS2 and an MS3 of designation subscribers designated by the service subscriber of the MS1 from the VLR, and detects the MS2 located in a cell region(C1) in which the MS1 is located(S7). If the MS2 of the designation subscriber is located in the cell region(C1), the MSC provides the ID of the MS2 and information for informing that the MS2 is located in the cell region(C1) to the MS1(S8). The MSC provides a short message to the MS3 of the designation subscriber for informing that the MS1 of the service subscriber exists in the same cell region(C1)(S9). |
