PURPOSE: To provide an arteriosclerotic assessment system which is capable of easily and accurately monitoring pulse wave propagation velocity, the highest and lowest blood pressure levels in a dosage therapy for arteriosclerosis. CONSTITUTION: A measurement indication mark 72 whose one end is a position to be decided with the lowest blood pressure BPDIA and pulse wave propagation velocity PWV and the other end with the highest blood pressure BPSYS and pulse wave propagation velocity PWV is exhibited on a two-dimensional graph 70 consisting of a blood pressure axis 74 and pulse wave propagation axis 76. Since the pulse wave propagation velocity PWV, the highest blood pressure BPSYS and the lowest blood pressure BPDIA can be totally recognized from the position and size in the two-dimensional graph 70 of the measurement indication mark 72, it becomes possible to easily and accurately monitor the pulse wave propagation velocity PWV, the highest blood pressure BPSYS and the lowest blood pressure BPDIA. |
