HIGH DENSITY INK JET PRINT HEAD WITH MULTIPLE ARRAY STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A high density ink jet print head is provided to achieve improved printing speed and resolution by increasing density of nozzles, while allowing for a mass production. CONSTITUTION: A high density ink jet print head comprises a substrate(110); a plurality of ink chambers(114) formed into substantially a semi-spherical shape at the surface of the substrate and filled with ink; a manifold(112) formed at the rear surface of the substrate, and which feeds ink to the ink chambers; an ink channel(116) connected to the manifold at the bottom surfaces of the ink chambers; a nozzle plate(120) formed integrally on the substrate; a plurality of nozzles(122) formed on the nozzle plate, and arranged at the position corresponding to the centers of the ink chambers; heaters(130) formed into a ring shape surrounding the nozzles on the nozzle plate; and an electrode arranged on the nozzle plate, and which is electrically connected to the heater and applies current to the heaters. The nozzles are arrayed into at least three columns on the manifold.
