PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interconnect that supplies with a suitable flowpath for a reactant gas and can selectively control cell/stack performance. SOLUTION: This invention discloses an assembly, device and method related to the interconnect of solid oxide fuel cell. In its extensive embodiment, the invention intends to achieve a multi-layered ceramic interconnect having an integrated flow fields for the reactant gas and an electrical connections. This method for making the interconnect comprises selecting materials suitably, forming apertures for the flow fields of the reactant gas suitably and joining of the layers through a firing and/or sealing process.
