PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that adjusts density for each of recoding mediums in the course of consecutive printing on the recording mediums. SOLUTION: A quantity of light emitted from a laser diode is gradually varied from the time when the timing of an ADC patch formation is detected to the time when timing of the subsequent ADC patch formation is detected. A value obtained by dividing ΔLD calculated in step S402 by the number of times N for division is set each time. When the value exceeds the ΔLD, the ΔLD is set as it is, thereby preventing the value from exceeding the ΔLD correction amount. |
