PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that performs ADC control under optimum conditions that match image formation modes, which are diversified according to users' needs, without decreasing productivity or increasing toner consumption. SOLUTION: The image forming device has a speed switching means that switches a process speed to several levels, a patch forming means that forms a toner patch according to the process speed switched by the speed switching means, a density sensor that measures the density of the toner patch, and an image forming condition control means that controls image forming conditions that affect the density of the finally formed image on a recording medium according to the toner patch density measured by the density sensor. |
