Fluid supply assembly for a device, especially a printing machine, comprises a lower base (14) and an upper container (40) which connects to the fill opening (26) in the base by means of a coupling (42). To mount the coupling on the base the coupling is moved linearly along a vertical assembly axis (AA) and then pivoted around the same axis. The coupling comprises at least one keying pin (122, 124) which engages in a complementary groove (136, 138) in one face of the base when it is being moved linearly. The invention also relates to a corresponding printing machine.
