PURPOSE: A method and a system for collecting and offering sale data are provided to collect sale data from affiliated stores, to analyze the collected data, and to offer the analysis data to a supplier for supplying necessary commodities for the affiliated stores at right time. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a POS(Point Of Sales) terminal(4), a data center server(10), and a commodity supplier(12). The POS terminal(4), registered at the data center server(10), collects the sale data on each commodity to be sold by plural affiliated stores(2). The data center server(10) receives the collected data from the POS terminal(4) via a server of the affiliated store(2) over the Internet(8). The commodity supplier(12) accesses the data center server(10) via a PC(7) over the Internet, and searches for desired data at the data center server(10). The commodity supplier(12) can be a manufacturer, a supplier or a consulting company. The affiliated store(2) can be a department store, a convenience store, a chain store, a discount store and an independent store.
