PURPOSE: An image detector using a solar cell is provided to reduce the resources, the manpower, and the time by using the solar cell to supply the electric power to the image detector. CONSTITUTION: A solar cell(10) is formed with a semiconductor device for generating electricity. A storage battery(20) is used for storing the electricity generated from the solar cell(10). A power control portion(30) protects the storage battery(20). An inverter(40) is used for converting DC electric power to AC electric power. An image sensor(60) is used for outputting an image related to a scene of traffic. A DSP(Digital Signal Processor) portion(50) processes an image detection algorithm. A wireless terminal(70) is used for transmitting traffic information.
