PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel performance reservation in a karaoke machine with a simple operation. SOLUTION: A karaoke remote controller with an electronic contents book function retrieves, from a musical composition index database, musical compositions which match the retrieval condition inputted by a user, presents them to the user, and transmits a remote control signal for reserving a musical composition to the karaoke machine by complying with the user input for reserving one of the presented musical compositions. The karaoke remote controller with an electronic contents book function is provided with a means which stores as a history the identification information of the karaoke musical compositions corresponding to the latest number of predetermined pieces of music for which the remote control signal for performance reservation has been transmitted; a means which tabulates and displays the musical piece titles which exist in the history complying with the predetermined user input according to the order of transmission of the remote control signal; and a means to transmit the remote control signal instructing the cancellation of the performance of the concerned musical composition registered on the queue of performance reservation of the karaoke machine when the predetermined user input is received after a music title is specified in a music title display state based on remote control transmission. |
