摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an electric vehicle which is equipped with a means for controlling idle turning per wheel and a control means of current which is fed on each induction motor on the electric vehicle which has many induction motors and does not have a speed sensor. SOLUTION: The control device of the electric vehicle is characterized by being equipped with an inverter which converts a direct current into an alternating current at an arbitrary number of frequency, many induction motors to drive the electric vehicle which is connected with the inverter and is driven by the alternating current, a current detection means which separately detects electric currents which are fed through the many induction motors, a speed calculating means which estimates wheel speed from each value of the electric currents detected by the current detection mean, a freewheeling control means which controls the freewheeling by reducing torque when the freewheeling is from the wheel speed estimated by the speed calculation means, and a protective action mean which prevents the electric current which is fed through the many induction motors from being excessive and uneven by the current detection means.
