OUTDOOR UNIT OF AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to increase wind volume and to reduce noise by improving a structure of a bell mouth. CONSTITUTION: A bell mouth(20) comprises a curved part(21) formed on an inlet thereof and expanded toward an inside of a discharge port(11) of a housing; a linear sloping part(23) formed on an outlet of the curved part and expanded toward the discharge port at fixed angle; and a horizontal linear part(22) formed between the curved part and the linear sloping part. Length of the curved part(L1) is greater than length of the linear sloping part(L3), and the length of the linear sloping part is greater than length of the horizontal linear part(L2). Preferably, ratio of length of the curved part, the horizontal linear part and the linear sloping part is 7:1:2. Radius of curvature of the curved part is approximately between 20mm and 35mm. Angle of inclination of the linear sloping part is approximately between 40 deg. and 50 deg., and more preferably, is 40 deg. Inflow and outflow of air in the bell mouth is smoothly guided thereby to increase wind volume and to reduce noise due to air flowing.
