FRONT SIDE SUCTION AND DISCHARGE TYPE OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A front side suction and discharge type outdoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to offer a separable side cover for allowing easy checking up, replacing and repairing components therein. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit casing is formed as a rectangular parallelepiped, and has one side facing the outside and an upper side opening and a bottom and the other sides closed. An inside of the outdoor unit casing is partitioned into a suction part(11a) and a discharge part(11b) so that a compressor compressing refrigerant vapor supplied from an indoor unit through a tube, and an air-cooled condenser condensing refrigerant vapor supplied from the compressor and supplying condensed refrigerant to the indoor unit through the tube are installed in the suction part, and a cooling fan supplying outside air to the air-cooled condenser and discharging air having exchanged heat, and a fan supporting member supporting the cooling fan are installed in the discharge part. At least one of the sides of the outdoor unit casing includes a side separate cover(13a,13b) separable to open and close a part thereof.
