PURPOSE: A width automatic control apparatus for guiding billet in continuous wire rod rolling facility is provided to improve actual yield of product by not only guiding billet in rolling process, but also guiding the billet smoothly as width of guide is being automatically adjusted even during backward movement of the billet for billet reloading. CONSTITUTION: The width automatic control apparatus comprises a guide(120) installed on the upper surface of a base to guide the billet (B); guide rollers(130,131) installed at the end of the guide(120) and base to guide transfer of the billet (B); an eccentricity cam(140) fixed to the outer surface of the guide(120) to adjust width of the guide(120) and rotated to a certain angle centering around a shaft(141) on the upper surface of the base; an elastic member(150) installed at the end of the shaft(141) to elastically restore position of the guide(120); and a guide position control means(160) for controlling position of the guide(120) by selectively stopping rotation of the shaft(141), wherein the guide position control means(160) comprises a fixed plate(161) which is fixed to the shaft(141), and on the outer circumferential surface of which a locking groove(161a) is formed; a stopper(162) which is rotated centering around a hinge(162a) on the base, and the end of which is selectively inserted into the locking groove(161a), and an air cylinder(163) which is installed on the base and selectively rotates the stopper(162), and wherein the elastic member(150) is a lamella spring(150).
