The invention relates to a method of consulting and viewing events comprising: a preliminary step (3) whereby the user inputs at least one datum and at least one identifier which can be used to define a user account specifying the preferences of said user; a step in which the user sends an event request (4) based on said account to a server; and a step whereby an event recommendation (6) is delivered to the user via an interface, said recommendation step (6) being characterised in that each of the events is indexed with a score indicating the compatibility between said event and the preferences defined in the user account. The different events are displayed such that the scores thereof are in descending order, from the event with highest compatibility score to that with the lowest score.
