PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a card equipped with an IC chip and a magnetic stripe in an automatic teller machine. SOLUTION: When a trouble is caused in at least a part of the information input from the IC chip in the automatic teller machine, switching to a transaction using the information of a magnetic storage part is performed. Accordingly, since the transaction is not interrupted even if the information of the IC chip cannot be perfectly obtained, the convenience of the automatic teller machine can be improved.
