PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission circuit which assures stable performance with low power supply voltage, and its circuit scale is made small by sharing a power supply circuit by a drive pulse and start pulse. SOLUTION: An input bootstrap capacitor C0, one of whose terminals is connected to a gate of a charging transistor T11 in a first stage, is recharged by initial charging transistors T01 and T02 which become activated when the driving pulse V2 is commonly applied to both gates. By putting the initial charging transistor to off state, and applying a starting pulse VST to the other terminal of the input bootstrap capacitor, the gate voltage of the first stage charging transistor can be raised.
