PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a musical sound generating device and musical sound generating method which can reproduce a musical composition according to the contents of an image displayed on the screen. SOLUTION: The musical composition is reproduced according to the display attribute of an image displayed on the screen and hence the musical composition which matches the image displayed on the screen can be played since the piece of music to be reproduced is selected or musical sound parameters are set according to the brightness, chromaticity or dynamic variation of the image data displayed on the screen and the performance data of the specified piece of music or selected piece of music are reproduced on the basis of the set musical sound parameter. |
