<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in downsizing a prior art portable radio to which an electromagnetic shield portion has to be provided in order to reduce electromagnetic noise. SOLUTION: A portable radio is provided with at least a single set of detector, calculator, and transmission device. The detector is provided near a part of generating an unwanted radiation, which is detected by the detector. From the result of the detection, a signal canceling the unwanted radiation is calculated by the calculator, and the cancelation signal is transmitted by the transmission device. The portable radio is provided with means for reducing the unwanted radiation.</p> |
